Terms of Service
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Welcome to vitrus.dev, a service operated by CAGAN YAZILIM TEKNOLOJILERI SANAYI VE TICARET LIMITED SIRKETI (“Company”, “we”, “us”), built and maintained by ahmet vural and theUglyCode. By using our website, API, or command-line interface (“Services”), you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Vitrus is a “glass-box” company brain: it ingests the content you connect (Markdown, Slack, GitHub, documents and similar sources), indexes it, and answers questions with sources, a confidence score and an explicit list of what it does not know. The hosted Services include the web dashboard at app.vitrus.dev, managed connectors, a per-organization MCP API endpoint, and a support desk. The open-source core (@vitrus/core, @vitrus/mcp) is licensed separately under the Apache License 2.0 and is not governed by these terms.
2. Accounts
You sign in through a third-party identity provider (e.g. GitHub). You are responsible for the security of your sign-in method and any API tokens issued to you, and for all activity in your workspace. Workspace administrators may invite and remove members; each member occupies one seat.
3. Acceptable Use
- Do not connect or upload content that is illegal or that you have no right to process.
- Do not attempt to access other tenants’ data, probe, scan, or disrupt the Services.
- Do not resell, sublicense or white-label the hosted Services without written permission.
- Do not bypass plan limits or abuse fair-use ceilings (e.g. automated bulk querying).
4. Your Content and Rights
You retain all rights to the content you connect or upload. You grant us a limited license to store, index and process it solely to provide the Services to your workspace. You warrant that you have the necessary permissions for any content you connect. Your knowledge stays portable: the source of truth is Markdown, you may export it at any time, and leaving the Services never locks your data. We do not use your content to train AI models.
5. Payments and Billing
Pro is a seat-based subscription: $25 per seat per month or $249 per seat per year. Order processing and payments are handled by our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd, which is also responsible for tax collection and invoicing. By purchasing you also accept Paddle’s buyer terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. When a subscription is canceled or lapses, the workspace returns to the Free plan; your data is retained and remains exportable.
6. Refunds
New Pro subscriptions can be refunded within 14 days of the first purchase — open a support ticket from your dashboard or email us. Renewals and partial periods are generally not refundable except where required by law.
7. Plans and Fair Use
Free accounts include account management and support access; the dashboard’s brain surfaces and the MCP endpoint require Pro seats. Pro usage is subject to reasonable fair-use ceilings (index size, sync frequency, query volume). We may adjust technical limits to protect service stability and will communicate material changes.
8. No Warranty on Output
Vitrus is designed to be honest about uncertainty, but answers are generated from the content you provide and may be incomplete or out of date. Verify answers before relying on them for consequential decisions. The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or where required to address security or legal risk. You may stop using the Services and request deletion of your workspace at any time.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of the Services is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page (and, for paid workspaces, by email or in-app notice). Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts and enforcement offices of Türkiye.
